He graduated in Eletrconic Engineering from the Aeronautics Institute of Technology (Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica – ITA) in 1993 and is one of Locaweb’s founders. He was a consultant at Andersen Consulting do Brasil Ltda. (currently Accenture do Brasil Ltda.) from October 1994 to August 1997, during which period he gained experience in the technology area in several projects in the financial, pharmaceutical and energy sectors, in addition to doing internal research for the company in Palo Alto. After founding Locaweb in 1998, he served as New Business and Technology Officer. He took office as Locaweb’s CEO in 2007 and joined the the Company’s Board of Directors in 2012. He is currently the Chairman of the Company’s Board of Directors.

He graduated in Business Administration with an emphasis on Finance from Escola Superior de Propaganda em Marketing (ESPM) in 2005. He joined Locaweb in 1999, working in the collection sector, where he was a manager and later held the position of Vice-President of Finance. He completed an extension course on IT for Non-IT Executives at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology – MIT in 2006, in addition to the Reinventing the CFO program, with Jeremy Hope, at HSM University in 2007. He also attended the Boot Camp of Silver Lake Holding de Participações Ltda. for CFOs of companies about to go public. He has been a member of the Board of Directors since October 2017.

He graduated in Advertisement and Marketing from Universidade Paulista – UNIP in 1998. He worked in the textile area for 10 years and gained experience in the commercial and marketing areas of the company’s brands. He was one of the founders of Locaweb in 1998, as Chief Marketing Officer, helping strengthen the Locaweb brand. In 2012, he joined our Board of Directors and left the position of CMO.

He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering, with an emphasis on electronics from PUC-RJ. He is a member of the Board of Directors. He served as the Company’s Vice-President of Marketing from March 2018 to December 2019 and CEO from January 2013 to March 2018. Between 2008 and 2012, he was a member of our Board of Directors and advisory board. He has been the Chairman of the Board of Directors of International Meal Company Alimentação S.A. since May 2019 and a member of the Board of Directors since January 2018. He is an advisor to Digipix S.A., an e-commerce photography, photobook, photo-gift company; Lojas Quero-Quero S.A. (Chairman), a retailer of electronics, building materials and furniture in the Brazilian South region; Allied Tecnologia S.A., a distributor and retailer of electronic products and mobile phones; and Estácio Participações S.A., the second largest private post-secondary education organization in Brazil in terms of number of students enrolled. Mr. Flávio Jansen is an investor and member of the Board of Directors of Flyers 24 Horas S.A. – Anúncio e Divulgação, a company that advertises offers from retail companies on the Guiato website and mobile app. He is a managing partner at XS Consultoria em Tecnologia Ltda. He was responsible for the launch of the Submarino.com website, where he was the Chief Technology Officer and was later promoted to CEO. He was the CEO of Submarino.com during the company’s IPO on Bovespa and the merger with Americanas.com, which resulted in B2W – Companhia Digital. From July 2009 to May 2012, he was an advisor to CETIP-SA – Mercados Organizados, a publicly traded company that manages organized markets for securities, bonds, derivatives and other financial instruments, now part of B3. He was a member of the Board of Directors of Grupo IBMEC Educacional S.A., an education company, from December 2018 to April 2013. He was a member of the Board of Directors of Fleury S.A., a clinical analysis laboratory, from October 2015 to May 2019.

She graduated in Business Administration from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP), she started her activities at Locaweb in 2005, commanding the legal, human resources and administrative areas. Before joining Locaweb, he worked in the textile and retail sectors. At Locaweb he held the position of Administrative Director between 2007 and 2019 and is part of our Human Resources Committee.

Mrs. Manuela Vaz Artigas is an independent member of Locaweb’s Board of Directors and a board member at Pague Menos SA, Solar Coca Cola and Banco BMG, where she participates and leads a series of committees. In these companies, she worked on strategy, organization, restructuring, IPO and M&As, such as the recent acquisition of Extrafarma and the merger with Grupo Simões. Her previous roles include CEO of Calila Investimentos, board member of JCC (Jereissati Centros Comerciais), Sistema Jangadeiro and partner of McKinsey & Company. Mrs. Artigas holds a degree in Economics from Unicamp with an MBA from the Anderson Business School at the University of California Los Angeles, where she graduated as a member of the Anderson Business Society and received the Fred Weston Excellence Finance Award.

Mr. Luiz Ribeiro is an independent member of our board of directors and Managing Director, Co-Head of Brazil Office at General Atlantic. Before joining General Atlantic in 2016, Mr. Ribeiro worked as a Director at Advent International, where he concentrated on the financial services and healthcare sectors while based in the São Paulo and Bogota offices. During his time at Advent International, he served on the boards of a number of investments, and served as CFO of Atmosfera Gestão e Higienização de Texteis Ltda. Mr. Ribeiro currently sits on the boards of Pague Menos, QuintoAndar, D-Local, Neon, Fluency Academy, Bold and is a board observer of Gympass. Mr. Ribeiro received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas (EAESP-FGV) and completed the Program for Leadership Development at Harvard Business School.

Carlos Elder Maciel de Aquino has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE), a master’s degree in Accounting and Actuarial Sciences from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP) and a doctorate in Controllership and Accounting from the University of São Paulo (USP) . He has an MBA in Finance from IBMEC-SP and an MBA in Controllership from the University of São Paulo (USP-SP), in addition to a specialization in Engineering Economics from the Catholic University of Pernambuco (UNICAP-PE). He was an executive at companies such as Unibanco, Itaú Unibanco, KPMG, Diagnósticos da América S.A. He is a guest professor at the Accounting, Actuarial and Financial Research Institute Foundation (Fipecafi) and FIA-USP. Also, author and co-author of articles published in national and international books and magazines on finance, accounting, governance, regulatory aspects and auditing. He has more than 40 years of professional experience, having held executive positions in the areas of accounting, finance, auditing, health, private pension and third sector segments, in addition to acting as a member of the board of directors, fiscal councils and audit committees, risk management, internal controls, ethics and conduct, money laundering prevention and transactions with related parties. He is currently a member of the board of directors and also coordinator of the Audit Committee of Locaweb Serviços de Tecnologia S.A., coordinator of the audit committees of Allied Tecnologia S/A, Lojas Quero-Quero S/A, Nibs Participações S/A ( Copenhagen) and Fortbras S/A. He is a member of the audit committee of Tokio Marine Seguradora S/A and Tigre S/A Participações and Ebanx Holdings LLC and a member of the ethics and conduct committee of Nibs Participações (Copenhagen). He is a fiscal councilor at Folha Participações S.A. and Natura &CO Holding S.A. He is certified as a board member, a fiscal councilor and a member of an audit committee by the Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance (IBGC). Also, he is a member of the American Accounting Association (AAA).
